Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is eight kilometres (five miles). Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and cost approximately ?25 to the hotel. An airport bus is available, connecting to the underground system. There is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. Berlin's integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all trains, trams, buses and ferries.
