Budapest es una de las capitales más lindas de Europa situada a orillas del Danubio. La ciudad está dividida en tres partes: Óbuda, la ciudad más antigua con sus construcciones de los tiempos célticos y romanos, Buda situada en las colinas de la orilla oeste que es famosa por su Montaña del Castillo y Pest situada en una planicie de la orilla oriental donde se encuentran las tiendas, instituciones públicas y calles comerciales. Se unieron en 1873. Desde entonces Budapest es conocida como uno de los objetos más lindos del patrimonio mundial.
En Budapest se encuentran el parlamento más grande de Europa, la sinagoga en funcionamiento más grande del continente y el primer sistema del transporte subterraneo de Europa continental. Budapest es conocida por su abundancia de actos culturales – conciertos, óperas, exposiciones.

Lugares de interés
La ciudad vieja es uno de los lugares más románticos y más preferidos para paseos. Aquí está situada la iglesia de Matías con su pico gótico y el tejado multicolor. Es aquí donde fueron coronados los gobernantes del país. Actualmente propone conciertos de música de órgano. No dejen de observar la puesta del sol desde el bastión de los pescadores que ofrece una vista espléndida sobre el Danubio, el Puente de las cadenas, el edificio del parlamento y Pest. Las joyas del rey Esteban son otra atracción famosa. Tienen su historia interesante. Fueron robadas y apropiadas por diferentes clanes en varios tiempos. La sinagoga de la calle Dohány en estilo bizantino tiene 3000 asientos y se considera la más grande de Europa y la segunda sinagoga más grande después del templo Emanu El de Nueva York. Su acústica perfecta permite celebrar aquí actos musicales. Además se puede pasear por la Avenida Andrássy que conduce a uno de los teatros de opera más lindos del mundo.
La ciudad es famosa por su complejo de baños minerales. En realidad Budapest es la única capital europea que posee tantas fuentes minerales. Cabe mencionar que en la ciudad hay 400 cafés que siempre fueron un lugar de reunión para los soldados, aristócratas, poetas y actores. Aquí se podía probar el café y los productos de panadería riquísimos.
En Budapest les esperan una hospitalidad cordial, comida y vino rico, transporte público cómodo, vida cultural brillante y museos interesantes. Todo esto y muchas otras cosas atraen a millones de turistas anualmente. Usted también puede ser uno de ellos.
