The Hotel Colosseum is located in a quiet street in the heart of the city very close to the Cathedral of St. Mary Major and fifteen minutes walking from the Colosseo. The hotel can easily be reached by bus and metro and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. On the top floor guests can enjoy a wonderful view of the ancient Rome and its major monuments. Parking is available at 50 meters. The 50 rooms are old style furnished with private bath and shower; hair dryer; Sat TV; direct telephone; safe and air conditioning on request. WiFi Internet connection is now available in every room on all floors. We recently renewed our rooftop where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Rome by night drinking your aperitif before dinner. Our front desk has all information available regarding sightseeing tours; car or bike and scooter rental. If necessary we provide luggage deposit. The hotel is located not far from the Opera House and is well connected with the public transportation system. The metro stop Cavour is only a three minutes walk away. The taxi and bus stations are also three minutes away and located on the square of the Church of S.Maria Maggiore; one of the four Cathedrals in Rome. The hotel newly opened Colosseum Meeting area is adjacent to the hotel and facilitates two meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 80 people and is provided with all technical equipment. Food and beverage facilities for breaks or lunch can be served in the breakfast room of the hotel. Additional information; Children age 2 and under stay free in the room. Children age 3-12 will pay the Extra Child Charge. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
