Madrid, the capital of Spain, is a wonderful city with an unlimited number of things to do, making any visit an unforgettable experience. It would be virtually impossible to mention all the sites and activities on offer, but here are a few.
Only a few paces away from the hotel is the Cason, a small nostalgic palace which is all that remains of the Buen Retiro Palace. The historic Army Museum, the Church of the Jeronimos (one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Castile) and, above all else, the Prado museum which contains nearly all the greatest treasures of Spanish art, as well as examples of the work of all the European masters. There is also the Thyssen Bornesmiza Museum, the Reina Sofia Modern Art Centre and the Royal Palace.
