The Metropolitan Deira Hotel was built in 1998 and thus like much of Dubai is a modern building. The facade of the hotel is steel and glass whilst inside it has a cosy small hotel feel with an ambience which is relaxed and friendly.
Despite the central position of the hotel in bustling Deira, the hotel is not located on a a main street thus it remains an air of calm and peacefulness. The hotel makes an ideal base for both business and leisure visitors, with its closeness to many of Dubai's visitor attractions and centres of commerce,
The hotel offers a daily bus service to the City Centre Souk as well as the Habtoor Grand resort and Spa - where guests can enter and use the pool and beach facilities at a specially discounted price.
The hotel has a choice of two restaurants, a lounge bar and a roof top swimming pool. Nearby our sister hotel - the Metropolitan Palace Hotel (10 minute walk) has three themed restaurants, Arabic, Polynesian, and European contemporary fusion.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Deira, the bustling down town area of Dubai, not too far from the Dubai International Airport which is 10 minutes drive away. The hotel is within walking distance of many shops, two large shopping malls, City Centre and the Al Ghurair Centre, adjacent to the famous Clock Tower roundabout. There are many government, municipality, bank and International company offices nearby, whilst for leisure visitors the Creek, the cornice and the fascinating dhow quays are a 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride away (Don't forget your camera!). The Dubai Creek Golf Club is also nearby. The World Trade Centre and exhibition area is easily reached by taxi within 10-15 minutes. |

Dublin Arms The most established Irish pub in Dubai. The bar - open until late - serves both a full menu as well as light snacks, along with a good selection of beers and spirits. Of course Guinness is on tap. A casual relaxed atmosphere.
